I was invited to participate in Simon Westerns podcast in between International Womens’ Day and Mothers Day - suitable dates around which to talk about daughters and Mothers. We talked the entanglement between mother and daughter that often occurs, and how anger and hurt can become life scripts that are hard to shake off, limiting daughters' capacity to have joy in their lives. We also discussed cross-generational patterns, how our relationships to parents continue even when they have died, and how we can liberate us from these more destructive patterns. I also talked about the personal process I went through in writing the book.
